How to prepare for your spray tan

Shower using a glycerin based soap and shave at least 6 hours prior to your tanning session. Avoid showering with bar soap. Use a shower gel as oily soaps may act as a barrier to the spray tan solution.
Ensure your skin is free of deodorant, makeup, perfume, lotions & oils as theses products may act as a barrier as well.
Exfoliating before an airbrush spray tan is also important as it will help your tan last longer. Use of an exfoliating glove along with a sugar scrub is recommended.
Avoid waxings, facials and dermabrasions within 24 hours of your appointment.
Female clients, can wear a bathing suit, bikini or undergarments. Male clients can wear underwear, swim trunks or speedos. Please wear whatever you will be most comfortable in, but please keep in mind potential tan lines based on what you wear to your session.
Plan on wearing loose fitting, dark clothing after your tan.
Each client will receive an individualized one-on-one post spray tan skin care plan to extend the life of their tan.

Wait at least 16-24 hours before showering. Waiting overnight will provide the best results. After your spray tan application you will be advised on how long to wait before showering based on the application you received. When you do shower you will notice a brown color washing off. This is the instant bronzer washing off, it will not affect your final result. You will still be left with a sun kissed bronze tan.
To ensure a long lasting tan, keep your skin moisturized with a non-oil based body moisturizer. Custom one-on-one post-tan maintenance recommendations will be provided following your service.
Do not be concerned by dark areas around your underarms, elbows, knees and the creases of your neck. This is just the instant bronzer that will wash off entirely after showering.
